Are teachers and tutors the same? The answer is both. Giving instructional services whilst seeking to efficiently transfer bits of information or skills to another is performed by both teachers and tutors. They help others gain knowledge and skills. Teachers are more oriented to handle one group of students at a time, whereas tutors deal with one-to-one situations. Both can become the other.
A teacher could have a small class of ten and a tutor could have two to ten students to teach (like in a dance or musical instrument class).
