My house is kind of small, but it's on two levels and there is nowhere I go in my house that I don't receive a clear signal. Sound is very good and bass response is quite acceptable for this type of open headphone. Third, I've generally been satisfied with the range of these headphones. I live in a 2 story, 2900 square-foot house, and I typically get reception just about anywhere in the house. I have never given anything five stars until this product came along. Having previously owned the earlier RS 160, I knew the quality of these "cans."
My ears also hurt after a short time due to the foam ear pads. After more research I decided to give the RS180 a try.
Overall, I've been really happy with this purchase. First, it was really easy to set up the headphone system. This feels like a silly oversight from the design team! I would easily recommend these and would buy them again in a heartbeat! I would still recommend these headphones even with the few negatives it has. With what really counts for me is quality construction, comfort and excellent sound reproduction, these headphones have it.
I found that the bass had a decent punch, and was very clean. Past headphones I've used tend to have a muddy/blurry bass compared with the RS180.
The range is listed as being up to 100 meters and practically speaking, as I can walk on either floor of my house and even outside in my yard. Every 30-40 minutes I may get a brief 1 second or so loss of sound but it is infrequent enough to not bother me.
I am very pleased in all respects. The sound quality is excellent -- on par with expensive, cable-connected phones.
The controls (volume up, volume down, and balance) are small and right next to one another, and I can't imagine trying to use them with the phones on. It's very easy to hit the wrong button.
Sennheiser RS 180 Digital Wireless Headphone RS 180 has a brilliant sound quality compatible to high end professional, wired system. Comfortable fit for prolong usage. Yes, but you get what you pay for. I absolutely love them. I bought these to use with Skype so I could move around or lay down on group calls and studies I participate in. I had tried a cheaper pair that I returned because they wouldn't connect.

I am not an audiophile or a sound board engineer, to me the quality of sound is excellent. Following two straight years of tinny cheapo wireless headphones for computer, the bass on these is really a godsend. Wireless MP3 Headphones. The switches on the headphone are completely useless. The cord is hefty and thick. Wifi Headphones.
