They simply didn't feel like Sony quality whatsoever, unsure if Sony is going cheep on us or what but steer clear of these cans like the plague. It is true!!
I purchased these headphones thinking these were yet another set of headphones. The bass below 32Hz can still be heard, however with little of the fundamental frequency and many of the odd order harmonics. Regardless of how much I adjusted it, the discomfort wouldn't go away. I am no audiophile, however I do listen to songs all day long while at the office. Since these were the least expensive I was expecting bad things but i'm happy to report they sounded every bit as good as the more costly ones and were probably the most comfortable. They fit nicely without binding.
These headphones are huge with a huge cable. They're comfortable and sound great on my small computer, my music player, and my tablet. Might have given five stars if it weren't for this.
I've damaged two sets of these headphones by simply placing them in my backpack and carrying them to class or work.
Purchase Sennheiser HD202 instead!!! Overall a pleasant noise cancelling headphones review made me shell out the cash for these. Apart from blaring metal on these Sony phones I personally use them for computer gaming and for my PSP.
Fantastic pair of headphones. The cord is long, like 11 feet or something like that.
They likewise have great isolation. Comfort and ease, cost and quality were the main factors in my purchase and satisfaction with one of these cool headphones. They look ridiculous on me when I am putting them on at work, and they look ridiculous on my small workplace mates who occasionally borrow them. The appearance of the headband is ridiculous; it creates pressure at the top of your head which is uncomfortable after a couple of minutes. Sound- Incredible. The bass doesn't over power the mids or highs which is ideal for me. If you are moving around a lot with them, expect the long wire to get in the way. I usually use the infrared wireless headphones with my laptop computer or mp3 and when you had a roommate who does not like to shutup like I had, they are an ideal item for any university student. I'd like these better if they did not have this type of wide look. They're total crap. I got myself these headphones for my 13-year-old son to use with his iPod.

I sold this wireless home stereo on eBay, to some client who needed high quality at a bargain price. I wear glasses and the Auvio wireless headphones do not get in the way of that whatsoever.
