The primary disadvantage they have is the band presses painfully into my scalp before long. They do not stop ambient sounds very well however I just turn up the sound a little and they are good. I took a chance on these headphones, and desired to share my knowledge about them in case there are other hearing-impaired individuals that are looking or need headphones that will work with their hearing aids in position. The light style and ergonomic ear area only plays a role in the general experience.
I really like feeling like I am surrounded with songs and these headphones certainly have the desired effect. I've been using it since 3-4 months now and my buddies like to use it. I had been a dedicated earbud user for several years, however I recently developed a mild situation of tinnitus and I learned that using in-ear gadgets was which makes it worse. The buying price of $22 is extremely reasonable but when you're into listening to hours of music or tv then these won't make you happy. I purchased another pair since the left ear went in and out.
Bought these thinking they'd sacrifice quality and awesome. I acquired these headphones some time back again as a Christmas present, and immediately I noticed 3 things that are my only grievances. But what the hey, they are studio headphones, over-the-head, not earbuds or behind the neck sport headphones, who cares? Purchased as fathers day present for him to use with his desktop, complained about quality of sound, unit has a movie and songs mode that we didnt care for much but tend to use more then pops. There's a slight alternation in the bass depending on how it is set. If you are an egghead, or perhaps a "pointy-headed intellectual" (as Joe McCarthy used to rave), these may not fit so nicely.
I'm pleased with the sound for the most part and the pads are comfy in these kids headphones. The wireless voip headset in the 100-300 dollar range exert more clarity, definition, and detail, however they are also in the 100-300 dollar budget range. The quality of sound is great, as far as I can tell.
Outside sounds could be heard easily. As mentioned before, these arent primarily created for portable use, therefore it would fit you to use a rubber-band or perhaps a versatile metal strip and tie together as much cord as you want. I disagree with individuals who said that the switch doesn't do anything! This item was a Christmas gift and he just loves them, great for Sony. Hope that helps, but even top quality mp3 files sound pitched with squeekiness on these wireless mp3 head phones. They have great sound (specifically for the cost), extreme comfort (most comfortable I've ever owned), long cord (enables you to roam a long way away from audio source, but may be too long in many situatations, extra cord easy to trip over). Not really a reason to not get it, but you have been warned. Helps me stay sane! They are great headphones. The different options are $200 for better headphones. I promise you will not regret buying these!

And everytime I used them I ended up with headache or discomfort in my ears from these wireless headphones for computer. Anyways, there's leakage of sound in these Sennheiser RS120 wireless headphones.
