Remember, it wont matter how expensive or cheap the equipment is, just be sure that it is functional and you can actually use it without distractions.

If you become too strict, your crew members will be uncomfortable and are bound to make more mistakes. The point here is to be moderate; again you can't allow every mistake to go uncorrected. Have your rehearsals run for some time, make sure that you are comfortable with the performance of your crew. Rehearse until you have ironed out all mistakes and you can take the production from beginning to end.
Be sure that on the material day of shooting the video, all members are ready for it. Having breaks in between will keep everybody fresh and remove tension.
