Daytime favorite Ellen Degeneres has listed her four-acre Montecito estate on the market for a cool $24 million - $8.25 million more than she paid for it six months ago, according to the Wall Street Journal. The Mediterranean-style home includes four bedrooms, a wine cellar, a billiards room, a library, office, and art studio. The property also hosts two guest cottages, a tennis court and a pool and spa. Degeneres declined to comment to the Journal on the price boost.

The 32-year-old transient was arrested for receiving stolen property and violating a court order, though the terms of that order are unclear. The woman is currently being held on $45,000 bail in a Beverly Hills jail. The same woman was ordered to stay 500 feet away from actor John Cusack late last year after Cusack claimed she showed "an unusual interest by stalking, throwing a long letter of interest over my fence in bags with rocks and screwdrivers inside."

Hispanic fans of Jennifer Lopez are unhappy with the singer after she reportedly refused to promote her new Spanish-language album in Ritmo Latino stores, the largest Latino music chain. Ritmo Latino is permanently removing JLo's music from their shelves in all 50 U.S. stores after the singer "refused personally to promote her new CD in any of our stores," said the chain's president. "We've supported her from the beginning. Now we're told by her record company she will only visit Anglo retail outlets." Lopez made an appearance at an "Anglo" F.Y.E. store in the Bronx on Wednesday.

"They say they'll probably have a private ceremony in Israel, then a big ring ceremony and party in the U.S. towards the end of the year," a source told the rag. After a year of dating, the couple are said to be "ecstatic" about their wedding. Rafaeli showed Dicaprio around her native Israel earlier this month, where the actor's security team had a much-publicized clash with photographers. "The reason they made the trip to Israel is that Leo wanted to get Bar's parents' approval before he popped the question. Now they are busy making wedding plans," the source said. I'm not so sure I buy this story as Dicaprio has said many times that he is not ready to wed or settle down...

Hilary Swank's recent good deed helped her get out of a speeding ticket. The Oscar winner was learning lines at an LA bakery and helped a woman with her groceries when she noticed all the staff were busy. Days later, Swank was pulled over for speeding on the Pacific Coast Highway by a cop who had witnessed her efforts. "He goes, 'Hey, Ms. Swank... You know what, you were speeding...but I'm gonna let you off for being a Good Samaritan,'" Swank said of the incident. "I said, 'What? What did I do?' and he said, 'I was at that bakery a few days ago when you got behind the counter and helped that woman, that actually happened to be the judge of Malibu.' The moral of the story is, if you're in a bakery and they're short-handed, get behind the counter - you never know when it's gonna help you out."

Michelle Branch stopped her concert in Sheboygan earlier this week when she spotted her alleged stalker in the crowd, asking from the stage for security to approach the guy. "Michelle Branch just said, 'Wait a second. There's a guy in the audience - striped shirt and glasses - can somebody check him out?'" said a concert-goer. "It left everyone just so confused, like, 'Is this a joke, part of the show?'" After security apprehended the man, Branch apologized to the crowd and played her last song. Authorities say the man has been following Branch to concerts around the country for more than three years and has weasled his way backstage and to aftershow parties, and even lunged at the singer at an autograph signing. "He used to get his way into meet-and-greets and private events somehow and would try to approach her and touch her and just really inappropriate stuff," said the Wreckers singer's road manager. Branch was especially concerned to see the man in her audience on Monday night because her 19-month-old daughter was there. "He's been to her last several shows, but it caught her completely off-guard that he was in Sheboygan," said a police lieutenant.

Stone Temple Pilots singer Scott Weiland's wife Mary has spoken out about her erratic behavior last weekend, blaming the hotel trashing and fire-lighting incidents on bipolar disorder. "The weekend's difficulties were brought on by a reaction to an imbalance in medications used to treat my bipolar disorder," Mary Weiland said in a statement. "Scott was simply trying to help calm me down. I want to make it clear that he did not hurt me in any way. For lack of a better expression, I was unstable and just lost it." Country star Wynonna Judd has filed for divorce a week after her husband's arrest on three charges of aggravated sexual battery on a child under 13. A statement posted on Judd's website reads:
"Wynonna Judd today filed for divorce against her estranged husband, D.R. Roach, citing irreconcilable differences. Roach was arrested on March 22, 2007 in Abilene, TX and charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery against a minor. 'I am obviously devastated. Our family will pull together, begin the healing process hopefully - by the Grace of God - become stronger. We will move forward with our faith, family and our friends to find resolution to this difficult situation,' Judd said. Roach had been seeking treatment for drug and alcohol addiction at the Shades of Hope Treatment Center in Buffalo Gap, Texas since February 21, 2007. The couple was married in November, 2003."
A Metropolitan Nashville Police Department spokesperson did not offer specifics about the alleged victim's connection to Roach but said his arrest stems from an investigation by the police department's sex crimes unit that began in late February. Roach is being held on $750,000 bail.

On the heels of a room-trashing incident at a Burbank hotel last weekend, 31-year-old Mary Weiland, wife of Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland, has been arrested for allegedly setting fire to the singer's $10,000 wardrobe in front of the couple's Toluca Lake home. Police responded to a call of a "female burning clothes" and booked Mary Weiland for investigation of felony arson vandalism shortly after midnight on Sunday morning. The couple have two children, who have thankfully been placed in the custody of family friends.

The brother of Angelina Jolie has spoken publicly about his famous sister and the loss of the siblings' mother in an interview with a British newspaper. James Haven says the trauma of he and Jolie's childhood and the bullying of their manipulative father, actor Jon Voight, has been the impetus behind his sister's desire to create the opposite for her own family. "I have no memory at all of my mother shouting at me or my sister," Haven says. "But I do have horrible memories of my father and the way he behaved. He was so tough on our mother... He lived in the same town. We saw him around Christmas time or at school recitals. He was always around but he never did his job as a father... I think one of the reasons Angelina and I care so much for other people is his treatment of our mother. Angelina and I were very protective of her for that reason." Haven admits the recent loss of their mother, Marcheline Bertrand, to cancer has been devastating. "Angie has become very thin because she's grieving. It's even difficult for her to eat. I keep saying to her, 'Don't forget to eat.'... But you know she doesn't pay much attention to food anyway and she's been going through a process of grief like me. She has not wanted to eat, nor has she been able to." Haven says he and his sister are like orphans, telling the paper, "If Angelina understood something about missing parents before, she understands completely now. Angelina and I are ophans too, in a way. When you see those kids in orphanages, they cling to each other. And that's exactly what they have - they have each other."

The case dealt with mob infiltration and the corruption of the corporate banking world on Wall Street. Nicole Richie spoke to OK! mag about her recent health issues and reported collapses on the set of The Simple Life. A few excerpts:

About the dehydration incident: "It actually made me really upset because I did not need to go to the hospital at all - it's just another headline. I was just tired, and I left [the hospital] after 10 minutes."

What led up to it: "The hours that I'm doing are really crazy right now. I was getting my hair and makeup done in the morning and I turned the heat on to 90, which I probably shouldn't have done, but I like it really hot in my room. I hadn't eaten breakfast yet and I asked for a bowl of cereal, but when you're on a big set it has to go through 15 people to even get to me. I walked outside and I just wasn't feeling like myself. There wasn't an on-set doctor, so instead they took me to a hospital. There was absolutely nothing wrong with me."

On the most annoying rumor about her: "I don't care about any other rumor except the one that I have an eating disorder. That really bothers me because there are people who truly have eating disorders and it is a serious disease. To put that title on someone when it is not true is disrespectful. I've repeatedly said, 'No, I don't have an eating disorder,' and it has fallen on deaf ears."

On reports that she takes diet drugs: "This is totally ridiculous. The second I gain weight it's like, 'She's had gastric bypass surgery reversed!' It's sad because what I've come to realize from watching TV and reading magazines is that it's not me that's weight- obsessed. America is weight-obsessed. It's either, 'This person has an eating disorder,' or 'How to lose 5 pounds in 10 days.' Everything is about diet and body image."

A Burbank hotel is pressing charges against Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland and his wife Mary, claiming the couple trashed a hotel room during their stay last weekend. "A huge argument" between the pair started when Mary arrived at the hotel on Saturday and was witnessed by their two children - who were taken away by Weiland's assistant. Weiland then left and Mary could be heard throwing things around in the room afterward. Alarm clocks and phones were ripped from their sockets, "dents and gauges" were made in the walls and blood was found on the bed linens. The Stone Temple Pilots alum pleaded guilty to domestic violence charges against his wife in 2001.

Gossip Reported cause of death leaked

Following yesterday's announcement that the cause of Anna Nicole Smith's death would be announced at a press conference on Monday, some well-known tabloids claim to already have the scoop. Star mag and the National Enquirer report that a drug overdose and blood infection caused the former Playmate's demise. Sources told the rags that when Smith arrived at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, she was suffering from a 105 degree fever and quickly developed a second infection from a virulent form of norovirus. Smith allegedly began vomiting and suffering from severe diarrhea and dehydration, but instead of taking her to a hospital, her entourage gave her an ice bath, an antibiotic and an over-the-counter flu medication. After telling her staff she wanted to sleep, Smith was reportedly given a toxic dose of chloral hydrate, a sleep aid, and never woke up.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Foxy Brown after the rapper failed to appear in court. Brown was charged with battery and resisting arrest in February after an incident at a beauty salon in which she threw hair glue at an employee who asked her to leave because the salon was closed. Brown allegedly spat at the employee as he called 911 and then resisted arrest once police arrived on scene. The arrest warrant was issued on Brown's failure to appear in court in Fort Lauderdale.

Nicole Richie's rep has come up with another excuse to explain her client's ongoing health issues. After reports earlier today that Richie had collapsed again on the set of The Simple Life, her rep says, "In her ongoing effort to focus on her well-being, Nicole has recently been diagnosed with hypoglycemia... [She] is taking steps to manage it." (Hypoglycemia is essentially low blood sugar.) A source on the set of the show told People mag, "Four or five times she's felt really faint and almost passed out. She has to go into her trailer for a good part of the day."

Britney Spears has officially left rehab after less than a month of treatment. Spears "has been released by the Promises Malibu Treatment Center after successfully completing their program," the popstar's manager said in a statement released last night. A typical stay at an in-patient rehab program is 45 days, so Spears's month of treatment is shorter than many expected. She has been attending AA meetings and reportedly making amends over her custody battle with estranged husband Kevin Federline.

After a collapse on set last week, Richie was "taken to her trailer immediately," because she was having "trouble walking and speaking clearly." Britney Spears will be leaving rehab later this week, according to TMZ. After an "amazing meeting" this weekend, sources say Spears and estranged husband Kevin Federline have agreed to a 50/50 custody split for sons Sean Preston and Jayden James, with Spears eventually getting primary physical custody. Meanwhile, the popstar's aunt is a little less supportive of Spears's recovery, telling a British paper, "Britney has to sort her priorities out and quickly, before it is too late, otherwise she may end up dead. It is heartbreaking to go from knowing Britney as she was as a child to seeing how she is now, with everything falling apart. It is sad. It has all gone horribly wrong for Britney and I am truly terrified about what might happen to her."

Gossip Hilary admits to feeling pressure to get skinny

Hilary Duff admits that her weight loss of recent years is directly related to pressure from the media. "I did get skinny," the singer told a British newspaper. "I've felt that pressure like everyone else in my position. When a newspaper comes out and says 'Duff Puff - she must have gained 15 pounds' or something like that, how would any normal person react? It's so mean, but everyone keeps buying that stuff and talking about it, so it's not going to go away." Duff also spoke about living with big sis Haylie, after mom Susan recently moved out of the house they all shared. "It was her idea," Duff admitted. "She said, 'I want to give you guys more freedom,' and I'm like, 'I don't want that. I want you here.' So I call her everyday and I still always consult her before any big decision."

Madonna is considering a move from London to NYC to be closer to her father, who is suffering from cancer. The Material Girl has been spotted checking out a few Manhattan properties and according to an insider, "Madonna, Guy and the kids are definitely moving to New York this year. The deal is to spend as much time there as in London - if not more." Madonna's dad Tony Ciccone is reportedly in a Michigan hospital.

A Bahamian judge has ordered DNA tests in the ongoing custody battle for Anna Nicole Smith's daughter Dannielynn. "I know I'm the father," photographer Larry Birkhead said after a court hearing yesterday afternoon. "I just want the court to know I'm the father. I will be back on Tuesday." Howard K. Stern did not appear at Friday's hearing but both he and Birkhead have been ordered to appear in court on Tuesday to hear from DNA experts.

As reported earlier today, Britney Spears has grown "very close" with 33-year-old guitarist Jason Filyaw during her stay in rehab. Spears's new guy spoke to TMZ today but would neither confirm nor deny the pair's relationship, instead saying, "I love her, I support her 100% and we are close." Filyaw says he met the popstar before her recent stint at Promises, saying they go "way back" to 2003. The two reportedly did some recording at NYC's Hit Factory and stayed in touch until "a few weeks ago...we met up again at a Los Angeles AA meeting."

Victoria and David Beckham have reportedly found an LA home - the couple are said to have their heart set on buying Meg Ryan's $20 million Bel Air estate. "Mrs. Beckham was very impressed with the property overall, especially the ocean views which can be enjoyed from the bedroom," said the realtor who showed Posh around the home. "She was also impressed by the close proximity to the local amenities and schools... And the garden has lots of space for the children to run around in." Elizabeth Hurley may face legal action in connection with her wedding celebrations in India last week. The Project Catwalk host and businessman beau Arun Nayar were married for the second time in Jodhpur, India, on Friday but a local claims the traditional ceremony was against the law. The Jodhpur resident has filed a lawsuit citing a section of the Indian Penal Code on the basis that Hurley is not Hindu, and says, "She has hurt the religious sentiments of the community by marrying in Hindu style, which is a criminal offence."

Colin Farrell and Charlize Theron will team up for the war flick The Hurt Locker. The film centers on a bomb disposal unit in the Iraqi war and will also star Ralph Fiennes and Willem Dafoe.

Two of Leonardo Dicaprio's bodyguards were arrested in Jerusalem yesterday after a scuffle with photographers. "Two of his security guards were arrested by police after being involved in a fight that broke out," said an Israel police spokesperson. "They are being questioned." Dicaprio was on a private tour of the Western Wall tunnels in the city with model girlfriend and Israeli native Bar Refaeli when the incident took place. The couple have been dogged by photographers since their arrival in Israel on Sunday, and their plans for a quiet holiday were dashed after a group of Israeli entertainment reporters happened to be on the same flight from Frankfurt.

Gossip Depp puts film on hold while daughter recovers

Production on Johnny Depp's new movie has been put on hold while his daughter Lily-Rose recovers from an illness in a British hospital. Depp was scheduled to begin filming Sweeney Todd with director Tim Burton, but staff on the project have been told they will not work until Depp is ready to return. Gossip Mills to walk away with $56 million settlement

Paul McCartney has reportedly come to a financial agreement in his divorce battle with Heather Mills. Although not confirmed, media reports suggest Mills has accepted the former Beatle's offer of $48 million in cash, an $8 million mansion and joint custody of their daughter Beatrice. Neither party has commented on the possible settlement.
